6sense alternatives: ten options by what you actually need

Most teams searching for a 6sense alternative need one part of the platform, not all of it. Here is what 6sense does well, and ten alternatives grouped by the job they do.

The best 6sense alternative depends on which part of 6sense you need. 6sense combines account identification, intent data, predictive buying stages, advertising, and orchestration in one platform. Most alternatives do one or two of those jobs: ABM platforms, intent data providers, sales intelligence tools, website visitor identification, or account scoring you build and control inside your CRM.

This guide starts with what 6sense does well, then groups ten alternatives by the job they do. Everything stated about a vendor comes from that vendor’s own site or documentation, checked on October 1, 2026 and linked where it is used. Confirm the details with each vendor.

What 6sense does well, and who it suits

6sense is a full platform. From its own pages, here is what is in it:

JobWhat 6sense says it does
Account identificationMatches anonymous web activity and intent signals to companies through its company graph
Intent dataKeyword-level intent from its own signal network, plus partner sources such as G2, TrustRadius, and Bombora
Predictive scoresAn account intent score from 1 to 100 that maps to buying stages, alongside profile fit, engagement, and reach scores
AdvertisingAds targeted on buying signals, with integrations into LinkedIn, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms
OrchestrationWorkflows that turn signals into plays across ads, email, web, and sales, including email agents
Sales intelligenceAccount prioritization, list building, and a sales copilot

The intent score is the part most buyers know. 6sense describes it as a 1 to 100 measure of an account’s readiness to buy, mapped to five buying stages: Target (under 20), Awareness (20 to 49), Consideration (50 to 69), Decision (70 to 84), and Purchase (85 and up). The number comes from 6sense’s models.

6sense is clear about who it is for. Its company summary describes the ideal customer as one with complex sales: cycles of 60 days or more, multiple stakeholders, and contract values above $50,000. Its documentation says customers work with 6sense consultants to set up a predictive model from their historical CRM and marketing automation data.

If that describes you, and you will use the advertising, predictive stages, and orchestration together, 6sense is a strong choice. The alternatives below make most sense when you need one or two of those jobs.

(a) ABM platforms with intent and advertising

Demandbase is the closest like-for-like alternative. Its products page lists four products: Marketing (identify and engage top accounts), Sales (surface in-market accounts and map buying groups), Advertising (intent data and a B2B-native DSP), and Data (first-party and third-party data combined). It markets the platform as Demandbase One.

Pick this route if you want one vendor for account identification, intent, advertising, and sales insight. Compare the two with the checklist below, and check with each vendor for pricing and contract terms.

(b) Intent data providers

Bombora sells Company Surge, which identifies companies researching a topic more than usual. Bombora says it tracks more than 25,300 topics across a data co-op of publishers and B2B brands, comparing the most recent three weeks of activity against a 12-week baseline.

G2 Buyer Intent captures what buyers do on G2. G2 describes the signals as product and category page views, competitor comparisons, and pricing page activity. Its HubSpot integration maps those signals to HubSpot company records by website domain and creates G2 properties on the company, including activity level and buying stage.

Informa TechTarget Priority Engine draws intent from TechTarget’s own network of technology editorial sites. The company describes it as providing purchase intent at the market, account, buying group, and prospect level, built for B2B enterprise technology companies. TechTarget now operates as Informa TechTarget; the product keeps its name.

Intent data says an account may be in market. Whether the account fits you takes a fit score.

(c) Sales intelligence with intent signals

ZoomInfo describes itself as a go-to-market intelligence platform that combines B2B data with AI. Its site lists firmographic, technographic, and intent data, website visitor tracking, the Copilot sales agent, and GTM Studio for workflows triggered by buying signals. It suits teams whose first need is contact and company data.

Apollo combines a contact and company database with sequences, calling, and meeting scheduling. Its buying intent feature is supplied by Bombora, with topics and filters that depend on your Apollo plan. Its website visitor identification works at company level globally and at contact level for US visitors.

(d) Website visitor identification

Leadfeeder identifies the companies visiting your website and sends them to your CRM, with integrations for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and Zoho. It works at company level. The company used the Dealfront name for a period, and its site now says Dealfront is Leadfeeder again.

RB2B identifies individual visitors and delivers profiles to Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, and other tools. RB2B states that person-level identification is US only. Company-level identification is global, through a partnership with Demandbase.

HubSpot buyer intent is already in your portal if you run HubSpot. Per HubSpot’s documentation, it uses the HubSpot tracking code to match anonymous traffic to known company IP addresses, lets you filter those companies by intent criteria and target market, and adds them to your CRM using HubSpot Credits.

Person-level identification raises privacy questions that differ by country. Take them to your legal team first.

(e) Account and lead scoring you build in your CRM

Some teams searching for a 6sense alternative want one thing: a ranked list of accounts their reps believe. You can build that on data you already hold.

HubSpot’s scoring tool builds fit, engagement, and combined scores for contacts, companies, and deals from rules you write, on Marketing Hub or Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise. It is documented here. Start with it before you buy anything.

BoostIdeal is a scoring engine that works inside HubSpot. You build the model and set the weights by hand, with AI helping you analyze your data. It scores leads, contacts, accounts, and custom objects out of 10, and writes each score and its reasons back to HubSpot properties.

Neither produces intent data. Both can score on fields another tool writes into HubSpot, such as the G2 properties above.

A worked example: scoring an account without a predictive platform

Here is a demo account scored on fit, using only HubSpot data. The buying group factor reads the contacts associated with the account, which matters because Forrester reports that 95% of B2B purchases involve three or more people.

Demo data. A demo account scored on fit from HubSpot properties: four factors add, an existing-customer check subtracts, and the total is the weighted sum.

The math: 2.61 + 1.85 + 1.26 + 1.64 = 7.36, minus 0.13 for the disqualifier, gives 7.2 out of 10.

Engagement is scored separately. In this demo it includes one field brought in from an intent provider:

Engagement signalSourceWeightRating
Pricing and comparison page visits, last 30 daysHubSpot tracking35%7.8
Meetings and replies, last 30 daysHubSpot activities30%6.4
Third-party intent on your categoryIntent provider field synced to the company record20%8.1
Contacts active at the account, last 30 daysAssociated contacts15%5.6

That works out to 2.73 + 1.92 + 1.62 + 0.84 = 7.1 out of 10. If the intent field were empty, it would contribute 0 and the engagement score would be 5.5.

The result is a fit score of 7.2 and an engagement score of 7.1, each with its reasons. There is no predicted buying stage, and no signal from accounts that have never touched your data.

A checklist for comparing 6sense alternatives

QuestionWhy it matters
Which of the five jobs will we use in the first six months?Scope you never use still has to be paid for and maintained
Where does the signal come from?A data co-op, a review site, a publisher network, and your own website see different things
Is it account level or person level?Person-level data has legal limits by region
Can a rep see why an account ranks where it does?A number with no reason gets ignored
Who can change the model, and how fast?Your market shifts. Find out whether your team edits the weights or a vendor does
How much history does it need?Predictive models train on past opportunities. Rules need none
Where does the output live?A CRM property that workflows, lists, and reports can read is the most useful place
Does it work with our CRM?Confirm the integration for your CRM and plan in the vendor’s documentation

Where BoostIdeal fits

BoostIdeal is not an intent data provider or an ad platform, and it does not identify anonymous accounts. It is for HubSpot teams that want transparent fit and engagement scoring on the data they already have, plus any enrichment or intent fields they bring into HubSpot. You build the model and set the weights. Every score is out of 10 and writes back to HubSpot properties with its reasons, so a rep can see why an account ranks where it does.

It can score an account using its contacts, such as how many there are and their job titles. Several models can run side by side for comparison. Scores recalculate hourly by default, and in near real time with webhook sync. Your own HubSpot workflows and lists act on the scores.

It works with HubSpot, or a CSV you upload. It is not the right fit if your data is not in HubSpot and you do not want to work from CSV uploads, or if you want a vendor to hand over a number you never question. It is also the wrong tool if your main need is third-party intent, advertising, or predictive buying stages. For those, use 6sense or one of the platforms above.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best 6sense alternatives?

It depends on the job. Demandbase is the closest full ABM platform. Bombora, G2 Buyer Intent, and Informa TechTarget Priority Engine sell intent data. ZoomInfo and Apollo combine contact data with intent signals. Leadfeeder, RB2B, and HubSpot buyer intent identify website visitors. HubSpot’s scoring tool and BoostIdeal score accounts inside your CRM.

Who are 6sense’s main competitors?

Demandbase competes with 6sense most directly as an account-based platform with intent data and advertising. ZoomInfo overlaps on sales intelligence and intent. Intent providers such as Bombora and G2 overlap on one part of the platform, and also supply data to 6sense.

Is there a cheaper alternative to 6sense?

The reliable way to spend less is to buy less scope. A single-purpose tool, such as an intent feed, a visitor identification tool, or scoring in your CRM, covers one job in place of five. List the jobs you will use, then ask each vendor for a quote. This guide lists no prices, because they vary by scope and contract.

Can HubSpot replace 6sense?

Partly. HubSpot’s scoring tool gives you fit, engagement, and combined scores on contacts, companies, and deals, and its buyer intent tool identifies companies visiting your site. HubSpot does not provide 6sense’s predictive buying stages or its intent network. If you need those, keep them and score on top.

Do I need intent data to score accounts?

No. A fit score needs only firmographic data and the contacts on the account, and an engagement score can run on your own website, email, and meeting activity. Intent data adds a view of research that happens away from your properties.

Does 6sense work with HubSpot?

Yes. 6sense lists a HubSpot integration that connects its account data with HubSpot for account profiles, segmentation, and form enrichment. Confirm the details for your plan with 6sense.

The takeaway

Decide which part of 6sense you need before you compare vendors. If you need the full account-based program, 6sense and Demandbase are the platforms to evaluate. If you need intent, contact data, or visitor identification, buy that on its own. And if what you want is a list of accounts ranked for reasons your reps can read, build the score in your CRM first. You can add intent to it later.
